Tim Welborn

Tim Welborn

It is no coincidence that I founded my law practice in the NORTHWESTERN PIEDMONT.
I am a native of Wilkes County, and I love this area of North Carolina. It is my home and my community, and I’m proud to be able to work and raise my family here.

Growing up, I attended West Wilkes High School. I spent much of my childhood working on farms, in factories and on construction sites to pay my way through college and law school. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University in 1990, with a double major in political science and economics. I then attended Campbell University, where I received my law degree from the Norman A. Wiggins School of Law in 1994.

I started my practice in 1994 in Wilkesboro and opened a second office in Winston-Salem in 1998. Today, my wife, Michelle, and I live in Lewisville with our wonderful children, Logan and Lilly.
